The House "K" puts a new spin on a townhouse by having its own little town inside its walls. What does this mean?
Designed by Japanese architect Yoshichika Takagi, it is intended to replicate the sort of feel of a traditional fishing village. It uses wood for the internal buildings, and a stark white roof—do provide a certain kind of pseudo-outdoorsy experience.
This floor lamp is named "Giraffe" and was designed by Bernhard | Burkhard. The lamp has an extendable neck which provides some functionality. From the designers:
The lever of the lamp works by a system of scissors on a curved shape. This technical innovation makes it flexible and very adaptable in any situation. The combination of the functional parts made from metal with the wooden legs brings the design in unique field that combines technical and homelike aspects.[Bernhard | Burkhard via Contemporist]
Based on the classic Tower of Babel game, this interesting table lamp features several wooden elements that can be constructed and disassembled as you please to create different shapes. The lamp core will than offer a subtle glow that will glows from gaps in between.
The interior of this Chair House was designed and decorated by Igor Sirotov Architect. Decorated with dark colors on the walls to provide a cosy atmosphere, the house also features a tasteful combination of concrete, wood and stone.
