Not long after the gay guidelines made Malaysia the laughing stock of the internet, a new one is already making waves on Facebook. And this time, they're targeting female bosses.


The guidelines, which were listed in the Health Ministry's MedikTV Facebook page, had featured eight "tips" on how to be a "good female boss". Written in Bahasa Malaysia, the tips had advised women to:

1. have many discussions with your subordinates, especially male workers
2. be smart in winning your subordinates' hearts
3. don't flaunt your ego and power in front of your subordinates, especially when giving orders

However, links to the guidelines have since been removed after Facebook users described them as sexist and discriminatory. MedikTV was also quick to apologize, saying it was sorry if its entry had created ‘unease’ for some. "This is our responsibility. All feedback should be channeled to us without involving other parties," it said.
