Ikea's got one heck of a large photo studio and at 94,000 square foot, it's filled with show rooms and a staff of carpenters, designers and photographers. Some of the images you see in Ikea's print and online catalogs were produced here and the video below is a behind the scenes look at the retailer's work at their facility.

The Scandinavian furniture company hopes to move away from actual photoshoots to design rooms and products using AutoCAD, which is a 3D design and imaging software, to produce computer generated images that look just like the real thing making it hard to spot the real photo from a digital image.
