The country singer has finally announced details surrounding her next studio album, titled "Red" on Monday night via YouTube chat on Monday night:
"I have some really big news, I'm really excited because I have a new album coming out October 22 and I wanted to tell you about it and I wanted to tell you all about it right now," she told the crowd, which promptly erupted in cheers. "We've already done so much work on this, we've been working on it for two years."
Swift then answered a number of questions from the crowd, including a few lucky Google+ Hangout users who were able to video chat with the singer. She revealed that the album title, "Red," comes from a song that will appear on the record, while the first single is titled "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."
