Ever take snap a picture and thought to yourself, "This will make a great postcard!"  If Facebook's newest feature kicks off, you might soon have a chance to mail your favourite snapshots.



The feature which is currently in trial mode started out as a hackathon project. Just like a traditional postcard, the photo will be displayed on the front of the card, and you can type a personalized message to your friend on the backside along with the recipient's address (you can also make a request for their physical address). The feature also only allows Facebook users to send any of their own photos to friends, and not public photos or photos from pages.



The service will be powered by Sincerely, the same company behind the Postagram app that allows you to send Instagram photos as postcards.
