According to local media outlet rednet, the woman had arrived at China's Changsha Central Hospital complaining of an itchy ear. She was attended to by Dr. Liu Sheng and his colleague. After much probing, they uncovered the small spider that had apparently crawled into her ear canal while she
slept, and had been dwelling inside her for the past five days.
