Running in heels might sound funny, but it's tougher than it looks. As this the strangely hilarious video of the stiletto race in Moscow demonstrates, while most hit the ground running, some just hit the ground:
According to EuroNews, the event which took place last month saw plenty of Russian women voluntarily signing up to sprint 50 meters in a minimum of 3.5 inch heels to compete for the grand prize: a $3,000 shopping voucher.
But who could imagine they would take the competition so seriously, with some even duct-taping the shoes to their feet and shamelessly face-planting (a lot). In the end, one Marina Tuktamusheva was announced as the ultimate winner. We can only imagine how many blisters she'd have to tend to afterwards.
