As the most followed person on Twitter, Lady Gaga has a pretty big influence on the web. And now she's decided to reveal her newest project to her 27.8 million Twitter followers. In the tweet, the pop star sensation revealed about her latest “album/project” titled ARTPOP.



She also included these Instagram photos, one featuring the possible ARTPOP concept and possible lyrics of her new project. And to ensure that she will never forget the name of her latest album, she decided to have it tattooed on her arm.

Gaga also took to her social network LittleMonsters.com to share some insight into her upcoming project. “ARTPOP could mean anything,” she told Little Monsters in the site’s chat. “Pop art was a movement in the ’70s that is still alive now. [ARTPOP] is the music I’ve been making since [The Fame].”

Whatever the real meaning behind the name and tattoo, the album has a lot to live up to. Gaga's last album "Born This Way" sold 1.1 million copies in its first week alone and as of April 2012, sold nearly six million copies. This new album doesn't yet have a release date, but is expected to drop in late 2012 or early 2013.
