Not all divorcees end up hating their exes. Meet Roland Davis and Lena Henderson, two 85-year-old newlyweds who have previously been married before... to each other.

The couple met as teenagers in Chattanooga, Tennessee. They got married in 1944 and had four children together. Then in 1964, they decided to get divorce after 20 years of marriage. Davis eventually remarried and moved to Colorado.

But several months ago, Davis' second wife passed away. At the behest of his grown children, Davis prepared to move back East to be closer to his family who now lived in Buffalo.  But little did the couple’s children know that their parents had been talking on the phone for months.
“I never told the kids anything, it was not their business,” Henderson told ABC News. “It was grown folks’ business.”
So imagine the surprise when Davis one day called Henderson and popped the question, again.
“We were talking on the phone one day and he said, ‘Will you marry me again?” Henderson said to UPI. “I said ‘well, well … yes.’”
So now, almost 50 years later, the two couples have decided to finally grow old together as husband and wife. We're not saying it's true love or anything, but it's still a better alternative than growing old all by yourself.
