Back in April 2012, Mattel announced the launch of
the new "I Can Be…President" doll, but it looks like Barbie's rep is
really taking this whole "running for President" campaign pretty
seriously.

Above is a first look at Barbie2012.com, which is part of a social ‘glam-paign' cooked up by Mattel. She even has her own Instagram and Tumblr channels, where supporters and fans can engage and follow Barbie as she makes her way to the White (or Pink) House.
This marks as the fifth time the glamour doll has been seeking office, but the first campaign which actively uses social media to help spread the message. You can read the news and participate in polls at Barbie2012.com.
