If you're planning on taking a trip to Italy this September, then be sure to drop by Anzola Emilia which is located just outside Bologna. Because it might be your only chance of experiencing the world's first Gelato Museum (try not to lick the exhibits though).

The Gelato Museum will showcase the first written recipe, 10,000 photographs and documents and around 20 old gelato-making machines, including primitive, hand-operated churns made out of wood and iron.
The place will be run by museum curator Luciana Polliotti, who is also a self-proclaimed gelato historian. If your Italian isn't rusty, then check out her interview with GelatoTV below:
