Here's further proof that Lady Gaga is out to conquer the internet. The singing sensation has just launched Littlemonsters.com, the much-anticipated social network that caters specifically to Lady Gaga fans.

This site is the showcase for Gaga's startup, Backplane, which raised about $5 million last winter in a series A round from Sequoia Capital, Greylock Discovery Fund, Founders Fund, and others.

Littlemonsters is sort of a cross between Pinterest, a Facebook fan page and a classic old-fashioned bulletin board, where you can post a topic and have a discussion.

Given her massive fanbase, we wouldn't be surprised if a whole bunch of would-be artists decided to hop on board to promote their own personal social networks.
