without them ending up in a tangled mess: turn a standard cork bulletin
board into a thread organizer by sticking toothpicks into the board at
an angle.
A project cooked up by DIY blogger Korrine Wojcik, all you need to do is take a tape measure or ruler and a permanent marker to mark where you plan on hammering in the toothpicks. Then hammer a toothpick at a slight angle to prevent the spools from falling off the mounted board.
Once you're done, just mount the board to your wall, add the spools and you're finished. Not only is this a great way to save time finding thread, it'll also motivate you to star on your next sewing project.
