A woman in Utah recently discovered that her tampons came with an added bonus of some free cocaine.
The woman says she purchased the sealed box of tampons at a local salvage store. Once she opened it, she saw that some of the tampons inside had been altered and packed with a white powdery substance wrapped in cellophane. The cellophane was so tightly taped that she couldn't get it open so she was unsure about what was inside. Good thing she noticed BEFORE inserting it into her body.
Apparently, she tells the KSL that she was going to wait until the next day to call the manufacturer but then thought: "I started getting nervous because I thought it might have been a terrorist attack."
She then decided to call the police, who sent in a hazmat team. They quickly determined that they were dealing with good old-fashioned cocaine which was probably stashed by a not-so-clever smuggler. The police are still investigating, and the store has pulled the rest of the brand's boxes from the shelf.
