A 26-year-old woman who was declared brain dead has miraculously given birth to twin boys.

According to mlive.com, pregnant Christen Bolden was walking out of a building in March 2012 with her boyfriend and 3-year-old son when she felt a sudden pain in her head and immediately collapsed.
Doctors reported that Christen had suffered two brain aneurysms and declared her brain dead. As Christen's blood pressure rose, doctors suggested that the babies be delivered prematurely to increase their chances of survival.
At 25 weeks, the babies were delivered via C-section. Nicholas was born first and weighed only 1 lb and 9 oz; his twin brother Alexander weighed 1 lb 4 oz. Both boys measured about six inches long. They will remain in the hospital so that doctors can monitor the their development.
Meanwhile, the Bolden family have set up an account under Christine Bolden's name for anyone who would like to help the family.
