Working out in mid day doesn't sound like a fun idea. but regular exercise can actually boost your energy levels, especially if you're the type to feel sluggish later in the afternoons / evenings. A new study has shown that working out over the middle of the day can help you stay motivated and productive.
A study conducted by researchers at Elon University showed that not only did exercisers have more energy after their workout, their cognitive abilities showed improvement as well. Greatist suggests you do just that right when you're starting to slump. Then head back to the office after that feeling recharged.
Though this is great, not everyone will have the luxury of having such a long lunch break to squeeze in some gym time. Perhaps, a few office exercise routines instead without cracking up so much sweat?
