guests, or bored as heck and in need of a servant to pull her away from
the situation. But nobody has ever leaked info the mysterious contents that lie in Queen's handbag, until now.
Sally Bedell Smith, author of Elizabeth the Queen: The Woman Behind The Throne, dishes on the queen's purse contents in the Telegraph. According to her, these are what Her Majesty always carries around with her to various regal functions :
A fountain pen
"Rarely cash, except for the 'precisely folded' 5 pound or 10 pound note on Sundays," which she donates at church
A small mirror and lipstick, which she reportedly applies at the table
