Barbie's new home might be pink-overload, but the design concept is undeniably green:



This Architect Barbie's Dream House, it was actually designed by Ting Li and Maja Parklar for a competition to crowdsource the perfect design. The four-storey design is meant to balance off a steep incline, and includes all the essentials every modern girl needs (meditating room anyone?). While it's only a miniature plastic palace, it's been designed to USGBC standards, with a green roof, solar panels and bamboo floors (we're guessing the pet giraffe will be sold separately).

The dream mansion is currently being manufactured by Mattel to coincide with the new Barbie's launch later this year. For more info, visit Inhabitat
