In this fantasy world, Posh Spice shops for groceries, and Madonna does the dishes. Well, that's what the recent photoshoots featuring the above mentioned celebrities would like to have you thinking.

In the March edition of U.S. Glamour magazine, we see Victoria Beckham playing the sexy housewife.
Clad in micro-shorts and stilettos, she is pictured scrubbing the floor, doing the dishes, shopping for groceries and giving a dog a bath. In the accompanying article, she reveals that she revels in working as an unpaid dinner lady at her children's school. Yeah, rub it in our faces why don't you...

As for the self-professed queen of pop, over the years we've seen Madonna transform her look as frequently as she changes lovers. But it is her latest transformation that is the most unlikely yet, the new Dolce & Gabbana ad features Madonna posing as a housewife (GASP!) in her tight corset, scrubbing dirty dishes at the sink and preparing vegetables.
We certainly hope that this isn't a newfangled trend to 'empower' women by getting them bare-feet, pregnant and in the kitchen where they apparently belong. In spite of this, we're pledging not to wear bras for the entire week...
