We've all heard about Rachel Hunter's sad story about her fiance Jarret Stoll cancelling their wedding seven weeks before the big day. Now we're wondering why he cancelled it.

Sources close to the former supermodel say the couple's 13-yaer age gap might have caused the ice hockey player to get cold feet. Friends of the 27-year-old Stoll say he has become "majorly freaked" at the idea that Hunter will be turning 40 in September.

Other sources say the Hunter has been a very tough bride-to-be, saying that Hunter is high-maintenance, and revealing she changed the location of the wedding seven times.

Also, insiders claim the relationship between Stoll and Hunter's two children has soured in recent weeks.

Now friends of Hunter say she has been hoping her marriage to the young, rich hotshot of an athlete will send out a message to her former husband, Rod Stewart, that she was finally over their 1999 break-up.
