Kate Upton is the sort of model you may or may not appreciate. She's more of a boy's pin-up than a girl idol, so you can imagine the buzz surrounding this voluptuous model. Kate was recently attacked (not physically, if you're wondering) by a "thinspiration" blogger, who said she was "thick, vulgar, [and] almost pornographic".

According to The Sun, Kate decided to speak up about her full figure:

"I'm not going to starve just to be thin. I want to enjoy life and I can't if I'm not eating and miserable."

Kate's words may have affected the way SkinnyGossip.com operates. She recently wrote "Over the past week, things really snowballed," in a July 8 post titled "Some Changes." She doesn't name her Kate-bashing incident explicitly, but she writes that "the site’s reach has grown tremendously, and with this reach comes new responsibility."

SkinnyGossip.com no longer posts "Starving Tips of the Day" and she's taken a stronger stance against self-harm and provides tips for those suffering from depression and eating disorders.
