The wife of French president Nicolas Sarkozy topped this year's list of Celebrity Hat Wearers.
Carla Bruni beat out the Queen, Zara Phillips - who topped last year's list - and celebrity fashionistas Madonna and Victoria Beckham, who appeared in fourth and fifth places.
Philip Write, of Luton miliners Walter Wright said: "Carla Bruni's neat, chic, pill box hat was a supreme example of classic simplicity at its best - a stylish understatement which captured the attention of the world's media."
