Linda Chung, Raymond Lam and other artistes appeared at Olympian City for the [Towards a Better Hong Kong] event this afternoon. This event was organized with an aim to cheer up and motivate the people of Hong Kong in view of the present economic crisis. They (Raymond and Linda) anticipate an economic downturn after the New Year, and expressed that they are willing to accept jobs at reduced fees. They have shown a total commitment to TVB. Linda said that if the company has to offer 50% reduction of the normal fees, she is willing to accept it. She also mentioned that she was very lucky to have earned a substantial income last year. As for Raymond, he said, if he settles for a reduced fee and thereby leading to an increase in the number of jobs, I am willing to accept it at 30% reduction.
