Oprah Winfrey has a heart of gold. She gives away expensive stuff that she likes on her show to people. For free! And now she's helped a homeless man. Except, when you think about it, Oprah never quite uses her own money.
After all, all those freebies were given by advertisers, and now this story of a homeless man, on Page Six which got picked up by AOL and then Huffingtonpost, and more has a headline saying "Oprah Feeds Homeless Man Dinner, Gives Him A Fat Wad Of Cash".
A homeless man named Eddie saw Oprah Winfrey eating dinner on the patio of Scarpetta in Beverly Hills recently. Eddie asked her for a bowl of soup, (but) the media mogul did him one better.
“Please, can we get him some money, get him a meal?” asked Oprah. As Scarpetta staff brought him a “feast,” one of Oprah’s dinner companions handed over a bunch of cash.
